Indian Freedom Movement

The First Round Table Conference was held in London from 12 November 1930 to 19 January 1931 to discuss constitutional reforms in India. However, it was unsuccessful due to the absence of the Indian National Congress, which was boycotting British policies at the time.

The Chittagong Armoury Raid was carried out by Surya Sen and his revolutionary group (Indian Republican Army) on April 18, 1930. Their goal was to seize weapons and disrupt British rule. Though initially successful, British forces later retaliated, and many revolutionaries, including Surya Sen, were captured or killed.

Surya Sen, also known as Master Da, led the Chittagong Armoury Raid on April 18, 1930. The objective of the raid was to capture British armories and disrupt the colonial administration. Although the revolutionaries briefly succeeded in their mission, British forces later crushed the movement. Surya Sen was eventually arrested and executed in 1934 for his role in the raid.
