Rise Of Popular Movements

The Naxalite Movement began in 1967 in Naxalbari, West Bengal, led by radical communist groups who sought to address issues of land distribution and the exploitation of rural peasants. The movement aims to use armed resistance and revolution to overthrow the Indian government and establish a communist state.
