VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol.
It is a technology that allows users to make voice calls using an internet connection instead of traditional phone lines.
PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) is used to establish direct connections between two network nodes.
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is used for transferring files between computers.
HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) is used for transferring web pages.
Therefore, the correct protocol for phone calls over the internet is VoIP.

In networking, signals traveling over long distances lose strength.
A Repeater is a device that receives the weakened signal,
amplifies or regenerates it, and then transmits it further down the line.
This extends the range of the network beyond its natural limit.
A Hub connects multiple devices but does not regenerate signals.
An Ethernet Card is a network interface card installed in devices,
allowing them to connect to a network, but it does not amplify signals.
A Modem modulates and demodulates data for transmission over phone lines,
but does not function specifically to regenerate signals.
