Keoladeo National Park, also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, is famous for its rich bird life but is not a designated tiger reserve. The other parks listed, Ranthambore, Jim Corbett, and Kanha, are all recognized tiger reserves.

The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, located in Kerala, is famous for its large population of elephants. It is also known for its picturesque landscape and diverse wildlife.
