Kingdom Fungi

Mycology is the branch of biological science dealing with the study of fungi. Fungi is a group of non-photosynthetic (achlorophillus) heterotrophic, thallophytic organisms. Study of algae is called phycology (algology). Study of bacteria is called bacteriology.
