The largest invertebrate animal is gaint squid (mollusc) its maximum length is about feet. While whale and shrew are mammals and python is a reptilian all these come under vertebrates.

Ctenophora is a small phylum of exclusively j marine, invertebrate animals. Ctenoplcma and Beroe j are examples of ctenophora. They have biradial symmetry (a combination of radial and bilateral symmetries). They lack the specialized stinging cells (nematocysts) found in coelenterates, but one species (Haeckelici rubra) incorporates those of its jellyfish prey for its own defense.

The symmetry is bilateral in larvae but pentamerous radial in adult, i.e., body parts are arranged in five or multiples of five in echinoderms.
