A bias strip is a strip of fabric cut at a 45° angle (bias) to the grainline, which gives it stretch and flexibility, useful for finishing curved edges. Steps:

Lay the fabric flat and identify the grainline (warp and weft threads).
Use a square or protractor to draw a 45° line across the fabric; this is the bias line.
Measure and mark the desired width of the strip perpendicular to the bias line.
Cut along these lines carefully to get a straight bias strip.
For longer strips, join bias strips by sewing diagonally to maintain stretch.
Press the bias strip with an iron to prepare for use as binding or edging.

The tool commonly used for transferring markings from a sewing pattern to the fabric is a Tracing Wheel (also called a pattern wheel).

It has a handle with a small spiked or serrated wheel at one end.
When rolled over tracing paper placed between the pattern and fabric, it transfers marks such as darts, notches, and seam lines.
It helps in accurate replication of pattern details onto the fabric to ensure proper garment construction.
Other tools sometimes used include tailor’s chalk or fabric markers, but the tracing wheel is the primary marking transfer tool.

Interfacing is a fabric used to provide structure and support to parts of a garment such as collars, cuffs, and plackets. Two main factors influencing the selection of interfacing fabric are:

Fabric Weight and Texture: The interfacing should be compatible with the main fabric’s weight and texture to maintain the garment's look and drape. For example, a lightweight fabric requires a lightweight interfacing.
Purpose and End Use: Depending on whether the interfacing is for shaping, reinforcing, or stiffening, different types (woven, non-woven, fusible) are selected to achieve the desired effect.
Other factors include ease of sewing, color matching, and durability.

The length of a continuous placket is calculated by measuring the length of the opening on the garment where the placket will be inserted. Typically, this length includes:

The measurement of the garment opening from the neckline or collar down to the desired placket end point (usually around mid-chest or wrist, depending on garment type).
Additional allowance for seam and finishing edges, usually about 1 to 1.5 cm on each side.
Hence, This ensures the placket fits well and allows easy garment wearing/removal.

Plackets are made in double layers to provide strength and durability to the opening or slit in a garment. Since plackets undergo frequent stress and movement when the garment is worn or removed, the double layer prevents the fabric from stretching, tearing, or fraying along the edges. Additionally, the double-layered placket offers a neat and clean finish, supports the attachment of fasteners like buttons or zippers, and maintains the shape of the garment opening over time.

The blank is correctly filled by Standing collar. A Standing collar is a collar that stands upright around the neck rather than lying flat. It encircles the neck closely and is often seen in traditional garments like the Nehru jacket, mandarin collar shirts, and some formal wear. Standing collars can vary in height and stiffness, and they provide a formal and neat appearance.
