Angkor Wat is a Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. Built in the early 12th century by the Khmer King Suryavarman II, it was originally dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu before transitioning into a Buddhist temple.
