Ergonomics is the science of designing the workplace, equipment, and systems to fit the employees’ needs and capabilities, enhancing safety, comfort, and productivity. Two benefits of ergonomics are:
It reduces the risk of work-related injuries and musculoskeletal disorders by ensuring that workplace design supports natural body postures.

The scheme meant for girls like Sumera is the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV). It is a residential school scheme run by the Government of India to provide educational facilities to girls belonging to disadvantaged groups, especially from rural areas. Two other features of KGBV scheme are:
It provides free education, boarding, and lodging facilities to girls from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and minority communities.
The scheme focuses on reducing the gender gap in education by enabling girls to continue their schooling till at least secondary level.
