Below is a description of the required locations marked on the map of India:

(a) Paradip:

Marked on the eastern coast of India in the state of Odisha. It is a major seaport located at the confluence of the Mahanadi river and the Bay of Bengal.

(b) Agra:

Marked in the northern part of India, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River.

(c) Patna:

Marked in Eastern India, it is the capital city of Bihar, located on the southern bank of the river Ganga.

(d) Ranchi:

Marked in Eastern India, it is the capital city of the state of Jharkhand. It is located on the Chota Nagpur plateau.

(e) Mahanadi:

The river is shown originating in the highlands of Chhattisgarh, then flowing eastwards through Odisha to drain into the Bay of Bengal, forming a large delta near Paradip.
