Photosynthesis In Higher Plants

The plants in which first photosynthetic product is compound oxalo acetic acid are called plants, e.g., sugarcane, maize, Panicum, Sorghum, Digitaria etc.

In plants, only the mesophyll cells carry out photosynthesis, while in plants, both the mesophyll cells and bundle sheath cells contain chloroplasts and participate in photosynthesis.
