Eukaryotic Cells

All eukaryotic genes contain two kinds of base sequences viz introns and exons. Only the exons are used in protein synthesis and the introns are edited out from the primary transcript.

Structural lipids of cell membrane are phospholipids. Phospholipid is a lipid having both a phosphate group and one or more fatty acids.

Nucleosome contains both DNA and histone protein.

Mitochondria, nucleus and chloroplast are double membrane bound organelles.
