The B-complex vitamins are a group of water-soluble vitamins that play an important role in cell metabolism. While most of the B-complex vitamins are water-soluble and cannot be stored in the body, there is one vitamin in this group that can be stored, and that is Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin). Vitamin B12 is unique among the B vitamins because it is stored in the liver for a long period of time, unlike other B vitamins that are excreted in the urine if not immediately used by the body. - Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), Thiamine (Vitamin B1), and Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) are water-soluble and do not get stored in the body to the extent that Vitamin B12 does. Thus, the correct vitamin is Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), which is stored in the body.
