Concentration Of Ores

The process in which metal is obtained in fused state is called smelting. During roasting and calcination metal oxides are formed while froth floatation process is used to concentrate the ore.

The process of autoreduction is used in the metallurgy of less electropositive metals like etc. Hence, being more electropositive, is not obtained by auto reduction.
