Coagulation Power and Coagulation Value

Coagulation is the process where particles aggregate or clump together to form a solid or semi-solid mass. There is an **inverse relationship** between coagulation power and coagulation value. This means that the higher the coagulation value, the lower the coagulation power, and vice versa.

Coagulation Values of Substances:

• I. NaCl = 52
• II. BaCl₂ = 0.69
• III. MgSO₄ = 0.22

Therefore, based on the inverse relationship between coagulation power and coagulation value, the coagulating power of these substances is in the following order:

Order of Coagulating Power:

III > II > I

This means that MgSO₄ has the highest coagulating power, followed by BaCl₂, and then NaCl with the lowest coagulating power.
